We built what UK businesses told us they needed
Most offshore support looked like a call centre generic scripts, rotating agents, no accountability. UK business owners kept saying: they didn't need more staff, they needed a smarter operation.
So we built AtDesk around that idea. Deep sector training. Integration into UK software systems. Follow-the-Sun coverage. Human-led, AI-equipped teams. Glass Box, not Black Box.

2018
Where it started
One UK e-commerce client. A small team. One principle: be the operations partner, not the vendor. We handled the calls, the customer queries, the overnight backlogs, everything their team didn't have time for. That's still what we do.
2019
Into the field
First facilities management client. Reactive jobs, SLA management, engineer dispatch, overnight emergencies. A completely different world from e-commerce and we learned it fast. The operational instincts we built here still run through everything we do.
2020
The road
Taxi and private hire came next. Late nights, surge periods, driver shortages, the sub-15 second answer time protocol was born here and became the AtDesk standard.
2021
The clinic
Healthcare followed. Multi-channel inbound enquiries, appointment scheduling, clinical admin, patient communication, GDPR compliance and CQC documentation. Patients calling, emailing, messaging, every contact handled correctly, every time. Higher stakes, tighter regulations, zero margin for error. Each challenge made the operation sharper.
2022
The long haul
Logistics brought a different challenge. When contracts came in faster than capacity allowed, operators needed someone to find reliable subcontractors, source new loads, handle inbound enquiries, and keep compliance paperwork moving. We became the back-office that kept the operation running without the operator having to stop and manage it themselves.
2023
Every pest, every call
Pest control brought live booking management across phone and email, real-time technician scheduling and job coordination across multiple sites and postcodes. Customers calling mid-infestation don't wait, every inbound contact handled immediately, every technician dispatched with full job context, every booking confirmed before the call ends.
2025
Human-Led AI Integration
Introduced AI-assisted triage and quality control across all service lines. Not to replace people, to make them faster, more accurate and more consistent. Every decision still owned by a trained human.
